According to the USDA Food And Nutrition Service website, more than 46 million people are now on food stamps in 2012. Compare that to about 32 million that needed assistance in 2009 when President Obama took office. That is a huge increase!

Technically the Food Stamp Program is now called the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP for short. The name was changed in 2008 to better reflect what the program is about which is putting nutritious food into the hands of people that need it.

Whatever you call it, there is no doubt that it is more important than ever. With an increasing number of Americans needing food stamps every year, that trend is something President Obama would like to see reversed. But until the economy can turn around for good, SNAP is there to help out if you need it.

Government waste is admittedly a huge problem as our national debt skyrockets out of control. Our country has been spending too much money for decades and that is why we find ourselves close to bankruptcy here in 2011. It isn’t just Obama’s fault because every President before him presided over a government that wasted money and over spent. Politicians from both sides of the isle have a very hard time saying “no” to spending.

Now a new form of waste has come to light and that is in the form of food stamps. It seems you can be a millionaire and still collect them! You see, 35 states regulate food stamps based on only your INCOME and not on your net worth. So, you could have 10 million in the bank and as long as you have no income or very little of it, you might qualify for them. Now days, with interest rates approaching zero percent, it isn’t hard to have a lot of money in the bank that generates very little yearly income.

In 2007 it was reported that 27 million Americans were on food stamps and that number has gone up to 44 million now! The costs for the food stamp program has risen from 33 billion dollars to 77 billion dollars in 2011. It is clearly out of control and just one more reason why our great country isn’t so great anymore. Do we really need to spend 77 billion dollars on government handouts of food stamps? Are people really that poor or is this high number due to fraud and mismanagement?

Facebook and Craigslist have now become the place to sell your food stamps benefit cards for money. It seems many inmates in jail are collecting their food stamp benefit cards on the side. Food stamps were originally meant for the poor as a safety net in bad times but not meant to be available to almost anyone. Scammers and fraudsters are using them to steal money from the government which really means steal from taxpayers. They are just one of a thousand things that our politicians need to fix and close the loop holes to. We will never be able to dig out of our national debt as long as programs like this are able to be misused.

You see, all the stimulus money is going to big companies that are in trouble, state and local governments, and politician’s favorite pet projects. We can get into a debate all day about who does and does not deserve government money but the bottom line is that it is not going to individual people.

There is no special Obama debt relief, Obama stimulus grants, or Obama free money no matter what anyone has told you. If you voted for President Obama only because you thought you were going to get free grant money then it is unfortunate.

If you want to profit from the stimulus bill your best option is to try to find a job that has come specifically from that bill. There are lots of new jobs fixing highways, bridges, and roads that have been funded by this stimulus package. There are also lots of existing jobs that are continuing because there is new funding. Is free money being given away? No, but you can find a way to work for it perhaps.

One thing that could change in the future (but not yet) is Obama student loans. You see, he wants to take private companies out of the equation and only have student loans be issued by the Federal government. He believes Uncle Sam can offer a lower rate than the private companies and thus save students lots of money. Whether this will ever happen has yet to be determined.

Scammers want you to think that President Obama has initiated a whole bunch of new grants and they want you to sign up for their program that will supposedly help you get it as well as unclaimed grants. But these Obama stimulus grants are not real so it is basically a scam to get you to pay for something that does not exist. The normal everyday grants that have always been there still do exist but there is no special stimulus grants.

WARNING: Don’t get SCAMMED! So many people are under the impression that they can get some free money directly from Obama grants, stimulus rebates, the stimulus bill, green grants, and the government’s bailout of America. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! The stimulus bill has nothing in it for individual people. Other sites will scam you if they tell you otherwise. There are still government grants available as always but they have NOTHING to do with the stimulus bill or Obama! The Obama stimulus bill has been passed and now the hard work begins. Every state and every city in America wants to get as much of the 787 billion in federal money that will be flooded into the system. More money than ever before is going up for grabs and the scramble for stimulus cash, stimulus rebates, and Obama free grants is officially on. Everyone including government officials, companies, charities, local governments, and individuals are going to be trying to get their share of the Obama stimulus grants.

If you want to get your share of the free government grants, you are going to have to learn how to apply for them and do it while funds are still available. Obama is giving away free money but you have to know how to get it. He is even trying to change the face of student loans in this country. With Obama student loans, there would be no more privatization and all loans to students would go through the government. He says that this is a way to loan the money at lower interest rates than private companies are willing to give.

This rush for free Obama dollars is just starting so now is the time to act. The goverment is giving hundreds of millions in bail out moeny to all the banks and car makers and it is all coming out of our tax dollars. If they are getting bailed out isn’t it time to get our share too?  From education grants, business grants, housing grants, student grants, grants for minorities, grants for women…they are all here.

Now that Obama is President, where can you get that free money? Can you get it in the form of Obama free grants? Is he going to lower your taxes? Is he going to give money to all people who think they are poor? Is he going to take money from Republicans and give it to Democrats? Is he going to stop the war in Iraq and give the money to us instead?

If you are hoping for Obama free money it is too soon to see how to get it. But the government always does stupid things with our money so there is a good chance you can get some. Right now though, you have to be patient and wait to see how to get that free obama government money.
